Our Story
Dave and Pete built EthosOne to give independent schools a practical, board-ready system for governance, compliance and accountability.
EthosOne was founded by Dave Yeates and Pete Holliday, two educators with a shared frustration: independent schools were being asked to govern with confidence using fragmented tools.
Dave's Journey
Dave spent years serving on the board of an independent school, watching capable leaders struggle with fragmented systems. He saw volunteer boards trying to fulfil their stewardship responsibilities without the infrastructure to do it well.
Pete's Path
Pete spent decades coaching educational leaders and boards, helping them navigate complex governance challenges. He saw the same patterns everywhere: strong intent, high stakes, and too much governance activity lost between meetings.
