v2.0.41: Major platform enhancements across registration, meetings, planning, risk, and governance

Major platform enhancements across registration, meetings, planning, risk, and governance

A restrained editorial still life of a plain laptop, version notebook and dated change cards on warm timber, with no readable interface or text.

TL;DR

  • School Registration for SA (ESB) and VIC (VQRA), with standards mapping, evidence linking, and an audit-readiness dashboard.
  • Planner supports complex multi-initiative programs; Procedures is now its own module; Meetings uses a full five-stage flow; Dashboard 2.0 adds School Strategy and one-click remediation.
  • Broad improvements across Trust Portal, committees, risk, compliance, policy, camps, schedule, team overview, assurance logs, and settings, plus better Microsoft Edge support.

School Registration

Default support for SA (ESB) and VIC (VQRA), with more frameworks on the way. Map your standards, criteria, and evidence in one place, link existing EthosOne records as evidence, and track audit readiness with a gap-identification dashboard.

Planner (School Improvement Planning)

School Improvement Planning (SIP) is the same capability underneath; the tab is now labelled Planner. The workspace supports complex programs with multi-initiative structures that need embedded schedules, RASCIs, and success metrics. Built for the kind of long-running improvement work that does not fit on a single page.

Procedures

Now its own module. Just like Policies, you can version-control, store, and approve procedures. We see real opportunity here, particularly around critical incident procedures and reportable conduct reporting processes, and we are looking for partners to explore that with us.

Refreshed Meetings Environment

A five-stage meeting process: Template, Plan, Pre-read, Run, and Debrief. Each stage has its own UI and context-aware navigation. Run includes a roll-call feature plus timers for each agenda item and the overall meeting. Pre-read uploads now connect into the Pre-read email sent to invitees, and agenda items can be owned by multiple people or by the new Committees group.

Dashboard 2.0

Shipped with a new tab structure, a dedicated School Strategy view, and clickable alerts that open straight into a remediation modal so action is one click away.

Improvements

Trust Portal

The Trust Portal supports custom links, lets you share your data security profile, and allows selective sharing of risk controls with parents where that fits your model. Custom domain management is also easier to work with day to day.

Committees

Committees are now live within Departments for Admin users. They provide a group entity for cross-department teams and can be assigned work, ownership, and approvals alongside individuals.

Risk Assessments

Bow-tie risk assessments can capture treatments, produce combined bow-tie reports, and draw on a Risk Library so teams save and reuse frequent risks and controls. Assessments can move through an approval process, and Draft with AI supports Cause and Consequence fields.

Risk Management

Target Residual Risk now runs an appetite check so it is clear when a risk sits inside tolerance. Risks can be added directly from the Library, categories auto-populate for new accounts during onboarding, and risk criteria plus scoring scales can be added and edited. General bug fixes round out the release.

Policy Management

The Procedures module now sits alongside Policies with the same version control, storage, and approval flow. General bug fixes landed across Policy Management.

Compliance

Compliance picks up better user pickers, more reliable paths for custom creation, and cleaner ownership management so obligations stay attributable.

Camps and Excursions

Exporting and stability improved, save-for-later is more dependable, and validation now runs on Submit for Approval rather than on every page. General bug fixes are included.

Capture Strategy

Capture Strategy offers better PDF download options and a clearer on-screen layout when you share strategy work.

Schedule

The Schedule experience includes UX improvements and quality-of-life changes that make day-to-day planning a little easier.

Team Overview

Admin users see a new design that brings team membership and structure into a single, clearer view.

Assurance Logs

Log configuration can now be edited after creation, so you are not locked to the first pass when requirements change.

Settings polish

The colour picker accepts hex values, Departments appears as its own module in Settings, and a Company Reporting page gathers dashboard preferences and data sources. Wording is also clearer between the account icon and logo.

Microsoft Edge

Improved support for Microsoft Edge browsers.

Platform

General bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements across the platform.
